…and I have time to do these things when I'm home sick with the Death Flu. More on that later.
1. What did you do in 2012 that you'd never done before?
Visited England. Was "homeless" for a whole month.
2. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I didn't make any last year. Don't think I have since something like 2009, even Resolution Revolution. However, I think my Resolution Revolution word for this year will be strength.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
No new babies in my life this year.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Nope.
5. What countries did you visit?
England!!! London and Cambridge in July for a week.
6. What would you like to have in 2013 that you lacked in 2012?
More time with my family. Caliber. A feeling of abundance.
7. What dates from 2012 will be forever etched in your memory?
August as a month of in-betweening. November's election.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Moving back to the Boston area, and everything I've done to get Bodywaves off the ground.
9. What was your biggest failure?
Selfishness.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Nothing worse than emergency root canals.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
Hm. What have I bought this year? I know what some of my favorite things I've *acquired* are, but they weren't purchases of my own: Anthony's housewarming gift of a professional chef knife like his, backpack that I specced from my parents for Christmas. Oh, wait! Glasses with progressive lenses! And speakers/receiver setup for wayyyy less than it should've cost.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Anthony's, for all the help and support he's continued to give. Jess's sometimes.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Anthony's, sometimes. Jess's, sometimes…. living with people is hard. Mine.
14. Where did most of your money go?
New apartment.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Moving to Northampton. Moving back "to the city." Bodywaves.
16. What song will always remind you of 2012?
Call Me Maybe was around a lot, as was Gangnam Style. The Pop Danthology.
17. Compared to this time last year are you:
i. happier or sadder? happier.
ii. thinner or fatter? fatter.
iii. richer or poorer? richer, I think, but with different expenses.
18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Seeing my family. Making things and not stressing out about it. Moving my body. Yoga.
19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Sitting on the couch. Making excuses. Feeling sorry for myself.
20. How will you be spending Christmas?
I spent Christmas at my parents', as usual.
21. Did you fall in love in 2012?
Nope.
22. How many one-night stands?
One-ish.
23. What was your favorite TV program?
Dr. Who, and Sherlock.
24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
No new hating. Still not speaking to Laura, though.
25. What was the best book you read?
Yay, reading! The Hunger Games series, and I really enjoyed Un Lun Dun by China Mieville. And most recently, Dearly, Departed by Lia Habel.
26. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Ooh, I've been kinda under a rock music-wise. What was that weird Ravens in the Library stuff Anthony had gotten at a show with friends? Hm. I should see if I have that.
27. What did you want to do and get?
Moved back to the Boston area. Got a cool job with potential for growth.
28. What did you want and not get?
Completion of yoga teacher training. My own tiny apartment. Moving to Northampton. Falling for someone new.
29. What was your favorite film of this year?
The Avengers
30. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I turned 29. I had a smallish party of folks out to sushi and over at the apartment in Westborough after for games.

Probably still David Tennant (this answer is getting old).
35. What political issue stirred you the most?
The Presidential election. Women's rights. The economy.

Pared down more stuff before moving. Looked up stuff on the map better before moving (and thus hopefully wound up in a more convenient location for commuting).
37. Who was the best new person you met?
My roommate, Jess, is pretty cool. And the Bodywaves family.
38. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2012.
Don't push too hard.
39. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year.
